New Moniker: Kingston Natural Foods Buying Club
KINGSTON — The board of directors of Kingston Food & Gardens is
pleased to announce its new name: Kingston Natural Foods Buying Club.
The change is effective immediately, and reflects the buying club’s
growth from 12 members 18 months ago to over 100 today.
The buying club is also pleased to announce that it has formed a board
of directors, which has nominated founder Jennifer McKinley as its
president. Other executive board members include: Arthur Zaczkiewicz,
vice president; Lynda O’Reilly, treasurer; and Ileana Tecchio,
secretary.
“The name change better suits our mission of offering high quality
natural foods at an affordable price,” McKinley said. “And since we
are a ‘buying club’ it simply makes sense to have that be part of the
name.”
Membership to the buying club is $36 per year. According to an
analysis by the club, members save on average over 25 percent on the
cost of organic products sold at competitive firms. The buying club
also introduced fresh produce as part of a winter share program from a
local distributor of organic and biodynamic foods.
About: Kingston Natural Foods Buying Club is a natural foods buying
club offering members a chance to purchase high quality natural foods
and products in bulk every month at affordable prices. Our mission is
to educate our community on the benefits of supporting businesses that
embrace the concepts of clean food and ecologically sustainable

a deeper sense of community and education of how purchasing, preparing
and eating healthy, foods supports our own health and the health of
the planet.
